Alternative Pay Per Click Search Engines

alternative-pay-per-click-search-engines.jpgI want to show you a technique in order to generate traffic to your websites.  Everyone talks about pay-per-click. Where most people stop for the most part is with Google, AdWords and Yahoo.  There are a lot of other pay-per-click search engines out there and most people don’t pay attention to any of them.  You can go to one website to find them all.

It’s very simple actually, it’s located at  If you go there, you’ll see this is a site that lists 198 different pay-per-click search engines that are out in the marketplace as of the time this article was written.  You can go there and view all of the different pay-per-click search engines.  They have an entire directory where they tell you what each one is about, how they work and they even review many of the search engines.

They give you their 10 most popular picks.  To give you an idea of what they currently recommend, and in the order that they recommend them is:

  • Google AdWords
  • Yahoo, Yahoo search marketing
  • Miva
  • Enhance
  • GoClick
  • MSN AdCenter
  • 7Search
  • Search123
  • SearchFeed
  • ABCSearch

The two you want to pay attention to, aside from Google and Yahoo, are Miva and Enhance. Enhance has been around for a long time and Miva has, as well. Those two are  very up and coming pay-per-click search engines, and they have a lot going for them.

Before you go spend money on advertising that your not sure about, go there and read reviews on the various pay-per-click search engines.  This is a huge resource if you’re going to do any type of pay-per-click advertising.  It’s free, it’s easy to get to, and they’ve done all the research for you already.

Don’t spend all your money at Yahoo and Google. Look at some of the other options you have available.  You’d be surprised at the other places you will find you can use to drive more traffic to your website.

Remember that Yahoo and Google still don’t cover the entire Internet. They’re a big part of the Internet, but there are plenty of other services that have a wide reach and also quite honestly less competition.

Less competition means there will be a lower amount that you’ll have to pay per click.  You might not get quite as much traffic as Yahoo but if you’re using two, three or four others you’ll be surprised at how much more traffic you can get.  For example, many people don’t even know MSN AdCenter exists.

Many people haven’t ever used it because their interface seems to be a little bit more complicated but other than that issue, it’s still going to drive a lot of traffic to you.  Think about it, if you’re advertising on MSN and all their various affiliated sites, they have as much traffic as many other search engines, but less people are using it. Therefore, you can make more money, That’s a big tip right there that you need to take advantage of.

Find alternative sources of traffic generation. If you can add more traffic to your website and spend less to get that traffic, think about how far ahead of the competition you will be. Think about how much more money you will keep in your pocket.

Don’t get hung up on the norm. Step outside of your advertising box, step outside the normal Google and Yahoo pay-per-click engines and find new alternative ways to drive traffic to your site.

I can speak for Goclick since I tried it: I didn’t like it too much. Hundreds of clicks without any sales…
