<description>Armand: Phil was a great human being and a great friend. He was truly inspirational to those who knew him and that would make him happy to know. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phil, Jody, his son, and his family. Dave</description>

<description>Many of you know that quite a few Internet marketers have a rags to riches story. Many of those stories involve drugs on the rags side. My story and Phil's story both did. Phil had over 16 years of "clean time" under his belt when he died. I have only 10 years myself. He was a bit of a mentor to me in that area of our lives.

Phil ran an inspirational blog for recovering addicts. I have read his last entry quite a few times since his death. I think that last entry is a great legacy to leave (along with all of the other good Phil did). I think even non-addicts will find it inspirational. Here is the URL:

http://recoverydoesnotsuck.com/2006/10/02/is-there-life-after-drugs/

I once read a study that claimed that crack and meth drug addicts have only a 2% chance of death by any means other than something drug related.

I also have heard many times that only 2% of us will have a positive net worth when we retire at the age of 65... 98% of us will be broke.

Phil beat the odds in at least two ways. He was clearly a winner by any measurement. I look forward to seeing him again on the other side.

I appreciate his guidance on this side.

		<description>Armand,
I am so shocked. We have lost one of " the good ones" I met Phil about 5 yrs ago and he always had a smile and was always there to help anyone. And I have never seen him happier-these past few months. Pass my paryers on to Jody and his entire family

		<description>Hi Armand,

This is to express my heartfelt thanks to you for unleashing this sad but very important news to the internet community and friends. Of a truth this is such a shocking news and quite devastating. I was first introduced to Phil by George, your Operations Manager in January at North Carolina during your Members Secret Seminar. As a Newbie I was looking for someone who could help me out in getting a website out there and that is where George introduced me to Phil who was sitting way at the back of the room with his small laptop. We became friends right there and then and I loved his good sense of humor. He did advice me on many things regarding web hosting and internet marketing as a whole. When I met him in last April at Big Seminar 7 in Atlanta it was like old buddies met again. Phil will indeed be missed greatly and to his beloved wife Jody and the family left behind I pray the good Lords comfort and consolement to them all. May the Peace from God which passeth all earthly understanding abide and keep you all in this great loss.

Shalom.
