I am writing this to let you, the Internet Marketing Community know that we have lost a great marketer and to many of us a great friend… Phil Huff.
I would have written sooner, but I wanted to get permission from Jody his wife to let all of you know.
Phil Huff passed away unexpectedly in a recreational vehicle accident on Saturday, October 28th along with Jody’s father.
Not only was this shocking for me personally to hear, but Phil was just married to Jody on April 15th of this year.
Our prayers go out to Jody and Phil’s family.
I met Phil quite a few years ago at one of the first seminars I have ever went to. It was Michael Penland’s event in Atlanta, GA.
I guess that was 6 years ago now.
Phil commented on my wearing cowboy boots there to a seminar. LOL Since then, Phil and I became friends and talked frequently about Internet Marketing.
It won’t be the conversations about Internet Marketing that I will miss though. Phil and I often talked about life and how we felt about it. I always enjoyed the late night talks we had and those types of conversations that really make you stop and think.
He always had a unique outlook on life and was a walking and talking testimonial about the positive outlook you should have
You have to understand, Phil was one of the most caring and giving people I have ever met in my life and all us will miss him greatly.
If there was one big lesson that I’ve learned from Phil it would be that you have to be grateful for what you have. He always told
me how much he appreciated me every time we met. It was usually his closing words when we said goodbye to each other.
Phil… I appreciated you!
In closing, in Phil’s own words… “I love you man!” You’ll be missed, but I can tell you, you’ll never be forgotten.
We are awaiting final information about the services for Phil.
I will post about it on my blog when I hear more, I know many of you will want to attend. I do know there will be two services, one in Arizona and one in South Carolina.
