pic3.jpgAs many of you know, I’ve had a bit of facial hair for as long as I can remember. Well… I got home today after 4 weeks on the road speaking at different events and I decided to shave it off! Look here for the results – It may shock you!

Like I said, I shaved off my beard/goatee or whatever you want to call it. I’ve even chronicled the shave for a bit of fun.

    I’ve had a beard for over thirty five years and my wife told me she would leave if I ever shaved it off. I think she was right and I sympathise with your wife. Grow it back! Better yet paint one on until it does grow!

    I love hair on a man’s face – as long as its groomed, trimmed, and not so long that you can braid it, or if you can’t see anything but the eyes. So, I gotta say – GROW IT BACK! …and yes, it is indeed your trademark!

    Hi Armand,

    Glad to have met you in Kuala Lumpur in May.

    I think you should grow it back, but make it thinner and tidier all around. That should make you look younger as well (i’m guessing that’s the intention of the shaving ordeal) yet retain your image.

    I just showed the photos to Stephane, and he agrees – definitely grow it back. He says without your goatee you’ve lost your “latin” look/edge (and coming from a latin-blooded Frenchman, that carries some weight). =)

    Well Armand…how do you feel with it shaved off? If you like then keep it this way…if you don’t grow it back!

    My personal opinion really doesn’t matter!
    But since you asked…the hair adds some flair and distinction to your look.

    Of course you look great either way, but c’mon, the goatee is definitely part of your brand. Plus even though I generally don’t prefer facial hair on men, I have to say that it looks great on you.
