Google Chrome Is Released internet marketing general articles

Google just released their web browswer, Google Chrome. I just downloaded it and I don’t want to sound too valley girlish but…

OMG! – It’s fricken FAST!

I’ve spent the last few minutes testing sites and and sites and sites and I’m very impressed with it. It’s fast, definitely NOT memory hog like FireFox.

I suggest you download it and give it a try.

The only gripe about it is the fact that my Roboform doesn’t work. I actually have to remember my passwords. UGH! I’m sure someone will make a plugin for this soon though. It’s only been out for 10 minutes, so I have to be a little patient.

  1. I’d love to try it but I actually love the RoboForm software myself. I use it all of the time and it takes all of the menial everyday tasks that I have to perform on my computer daily and shortens them extremely! What once took me fifteen minutes to complete now takes me only one second because RoboForm does the same task with just one click. In fact I wrote a Report about a lot of RoboForm’s capabilities for use that aren’t even touched on in the User’s Manual for RoboForm. You can get that Report here:

Sometimes this link gets broken and puts you on a 404 error page. If that happens, then just copy and paste the whole link above in a new web browser page.

  2. From a privacy standpoint, I neither like to see GoogleUpdate permanently in the background (and not uninstalled with the browser) nor those anonymous usage statistics it wants to send home, but since it’s open source, I hope for free cleaned-up clones.

  3. Yep. Google Chrome is a breeze! And it provides very neat, clean interface for web applications and avoids clutter. However, I am not sure if it cuts into the IE market or Firefox. I have been testing the same for the past couple days; so far I have not seen any compatibility problems; if the web application is working with Firefox or Safari, Chrome should not pose any issues.

  4. RoboForm doesn’t work because there’s no Google Tool bar for Chrome.

We have a Chrome quick review here: http://www.neonrain.com/blog/

Btw, We missed BigSeminar11…need to try to make it to 12!

  5. Armand, why don’t you make a plugin for Google Chrome? You have the resources and it would probably bring you a TON of traffic.

    Have a good one,
    Steve

  6. I installed it a couple of weeks ago too and did my own testing. I’ve posted two articles to my blog http://www.1strateigic.com. 50 reasons why I hate Google Chrome… and so as to not ‘piss-off’ Google, 50 reasons why you should try Google Chrome.

I’d be interested in your comments / feedback.
