The marketing great, Marlon Sanders, does something like this with his affiliate program too… he offers $100 extra once you hit your 5th sale.

Armand, I totally agree with you. This a great marketing idea. The way that it works in practice is that you do not get a check unless you have sold two books so there is more of a reason to get involved in selling the book as part of a campaign then just to sell one copy and pocket the extra $20. I really like the strategy a lot.

I have done a review of the book for anyone interested and the link to the review is in my name on this comment. Hope lots of people listedn to what Aaron says as this book seems to be right on the money as far as SEO goes

This on the surface sounds like a great idea, however this is one danger I see.

We are all familiar with the technique of signing up for the affiliate program to get a discount on your own copy (ie you will never sell it)

With an open affiliate program you potentially provide an incentive to this kind of abuse.

So I would protect myself from this my only allowing it for a “closed” program - unless anybody has any other ideas?
